United Airlines has announced the largest international network expansion in its history with ten new international cities and three new routes across Europe and Asia. Many of these routes will be flown by the new Airbus A321XLR aircraft which United debuted with the phrase 'Born to Explore'.

In this blog post I take a look back at Lufthansa's history and development. From its birth in 1926 to the introduction of jet aircraft into its fleet as well as the challenges it faced due to Covid-19, the airline has clearly impacted the entire aviation industry.
